Foundation of Love and Care for Indonesian (YKPMI in Indonesian Language) was founded in Jakarta on the date of December 16th 2004 according to the establishment deed number 74 by notary Mrs. Esther Mercia Sulaiman SH. And legalized by Secretary of Justice as a Social Activity Foundation.

DR. Ir. Niko Njotorahardjo (President of The Board founder) has a vision to help feeding the poor, helping those who are suffer, and strengthened the weak. YKPMI was born by the Godly vision as a non-profit and social oriented foundation.

By this time YKPMI is fully functional and has offices in Jakarta, Yogyakarta and Kupang (East Nusa Tenggara). In Matter of personnel the foundation is being backed up a number of professional and volunteers.

The first test was the tsunami catastrophe in northern part of Sumatera. And we are distributing aid for disaster. We receive donated goods from International Foundation and gaining trust for distributing aid in disaster area. Among the International Foundation are Operation Compassion (USA), Feed The Children (USA), Food For The Poor (USA), International Aid (USA), World Relief (UK).
